Scotch Moss
Height: 0.5-1"
Zone: 4
Growth Habit: low ground level mat
Flower: tiny, star-shaped white flowers
Foliage: yellow-green, moss-like
Light: partial shade - sun
Bloom Time: March - May

Scotch moss favors clay soil and has a yellow tint to the foliage. Dislikes drought and the other extreme, wet feet. Can be used instead of grass in your miniature garden. Not a good choice for full shade. Considered evergreen.
