Description:
This plant is native to the South and Central part of the Americas. It is a very slow growing plant that will eventually (after many years) reach 6 feet tall.  The fairy castle cactus rarely blooms but when it does it need perfect growing conditions to produce flowers which will open at night. Fairy castle cactus flowers are large and white and will not occur until the plant is 10 years old or maybe even more.
Growing fairy castle cactus inside your home is an easy choice for the beginning gardener. The habit of the plant resemple a fairy tale castles and makes it easy to see why they were named after a castle.
