This pink succulent is one of the prettiest around! The pink and green leaves of Anacampseros telephiastrum variegata, Sunrise certainly live up to the “sunrise” moniker. Colors of lime, emerald, light pink, and deep rose combine to create beautiful rosettes. With time, the succulent will grow longer, either forming a dense mat or trailing out over the edge of your pot. Think of this one as a “filler” or “spiller” for rock gardens, containers, raised beds, and terraces.
In the summertime, small flowers will appear. Native to South Africa’s rocky slopes, this succulent tolerates high heat and drought, though it will need a bit more water than some other succulents. If its leaves wrinkle, it is definitely overdue for a drink.
