Attractive low growing plant originating from South Africa's arid subtropics. This perennial will form a mat, with clumps of flowers springing from a woody base. The creeping, hanging succulent is decorated with soft, fleshy, cream-edged leaves. Small, deep rose, flowers grow on this Ice Plant all season long. They will stay open during the day. Use in the miniature garden, for combinations, troughs, rock gardens, or as a skirt plant for hanging over the edge of the container. Very easy to grow, and especially drought tolerant. Water only when the soil is completely dry. This plant is prone to rot when left in soggy or damp soil. Trim as needed throughout the growing season.
