A smaller variety of the regular green Thrift. The foliage is golden with a green stripe down the center. Even in cooler climates, you can’t miss the round, bright pink flowers that rise above the foliage by June. After the first flush you will get flowers randomly until September. On a mini scale, it could be viewed as a large, mounded ornamental grass. A relatively neat plant with compact mounds, it does well as a border or edging. One could also consider it for containers, ground cover, rock gardens, and mass planting. This herbaceous perennial performs best with regular watering and partial to full sun.
