This variegated boxwood is tolerant of pruning and shearing, which makes it a great candidate for the miniature garden or fairy garden container. Pruning should be done after the last frost, as tender new shoots can be damaged by late frost. Evergreen leaves sport creamy yellow margins around a dark green center.
It should be grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. Prefers full sun to part shade. If grown in full shade, this plant will see a marked decrease in foliage. When grown in full sun, the foliage may scorch. Aim for dappled morning sun and part shade. Will grow well when provided with a moist, sandy loam with a pH that is slightly acidic to slightly alkaline.
