An everblooming Garden Pink, Dianthus Popstar is a sight to behold. It sports attractive mounds of blue-green foliage, but the stars of this plant are the ruffled, soft-pink double flowers with dark cherry centers. The frilly, fringed blossoms grow on strong stems and have a strong clove scent. Compact, these plants grow up to eight-inches tall and make ideal additions to rock gardens, beds, edging, borders, and containers. They attract both bees and butterflies. Relatively easy to grow and widely plantable, this flower is a winner.
Dianthus Popstar prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought and heat tolerant.
