Height on Delivery:

When you think of a “traditional” Bonsai tree, you probably picture this plant. This hardy and long-lived evergreen is one of the most popular in the miniature gardening and Bonsai worlds. Native to southern Japan, the trip is low-growing, with longer branches that usually intertwine. With careful pruning, you can expect a graceful, cascading canopy and impressive, strong bark.

In order for your miniature tree to thrive, it should be grown outdoors, ideally under full sun. Apply water when the soil is dry and never allow it to become completely dry. It may need to be watered up to once a day, but the soil should never be soggy. This tree does best in SDA hardiness zones 4-8.

Note: Scissors are not recommended, as cut needles will likely brown off. Pinch off needless with your fingers. The tree should be pruned when you repot.
