Description:

An easy and interesting houseplant that is colorful and structurally unique with small tiny white flowers that are produced seasonally. Ledebouria socialis, Silver Squill or Leopards Lily grow from purple swollen bulblets in thick clusters that support small silver leaves with green dots and markings or... is it the other way around?

It is not a succulent but can be treated the same way. Likes to dry out between waterings. Can be used as a ground coverplant in warmer areas.

Prefers part shade or bright indirect light but does just fine in full sun in the northern part of the US. Can be used in small fairy gardens as well as planted in a miniature garden.
