Also known as Polynesian Ivy, Satin pellonia is a low-growing houseplant that does well in hanging baskets, terrariums, pots, and fairy garden containers. Stems and thick, full foliage flow freely over the sides of a pot or basket. It also works well as a filler plant, since the leaves quickly fill in between other plants. The suede-like leaves grow to be about 1-inch wide and 2.5-inches long. Bright, indirect light and moist soil is best, but this plant can also tolerate light shade and will grow in nearly any lighting condition. They love moisture and humidity.
Polynesian Ivy is native to tropical and subtropical Asia.
