If you like String of Pearls, you are sure to fall love with Senecio String of Raindrops. This popular houseplant is a hybrid with leaves that have a “raindrop” shape rather than the rounder “pearl.” It can trail on pendant stems up to 3-feet. To thrive, it should be planted in porous cactus soil, protected from frost, and watered thoroughly whenever the soil becomes completely dry to the touch. These plants are very sensitive to overwatering, so be sure to take care. Less water is needed in the winter. Provide bright light with plenty of airflow, but avoid full sun.
Senecio String of Raindrops is a unique plant that will look beautiful cascading from a pot or hanging basket.
