Creating an Enchanting Fairy Garden with Fairy Houses

Before You Get Started

Consider what your favorite kind of vegetable is. Maybe cabbage is not on the list but pumpkins or tomatoes? Take a look at what kind of food/veggies we carry. Another kind of 'lettuce heads' that we often use is small 'rollers' off the Jovibarba Hirta, Borealis Red, Hen and Chicks.

Ingredients

Layout and Design

Fill up the container with soil. Right up to the brim. Set out the various fairy garden pieces you have and play a little around with it to see if it looks right.

Planting

First plant the tree you have selected and then the other plants. Cut off the bottom 0.5-1 inches to allow for the roots to grow out into the container. Add mulch before making the path. Now it is time to make the path leading up to the shed. Compress the area for the path and pour on the pebbles. Line the path with small rocks.

Adding Accessories

Add the bench and the veggies and lastly make the miniature garden come alive with the fairies.

How to Take Care of Your Fairy Garden

Place the container where it receives at least 6 hours of sun and water it consistently. Check it every day if it is hot. Be prepared to water the tree more in the beginning until it roots out.
