The Christmas Bears Visit the Greenhouse

There was once a family of four young bears. Angler, Jolly, Kringle, and Merry all loved the winter holidays.  This past year, they heard about a town filled with nature-loving flower fairies who share their fondness for Christmas. The bears traveled through the deep woods of Northern Wisconsin to find the magical nursery with displays of miniature plants and fairy accessories - plus an assortment of real-sized gardening treasures. The bears heard stories about greenhouses and gardens that take over a large portion of a wooded landscape and within one building laid the fairyhood that they were seeking. Once the bears arrived at their destination, they all roared with joy and glee, having found a place filled with fairy gardens and winter celebrations to last the entire season.

Christmas Bear, AnglerEach of the bears discovered an area of the greenhouse that suited them best. Christmas Bear, Angler is a black bear wrapped in a striped green and red scarf with a present resting in between his legs. He is sitting down, holding an ice-fishing rod where a silver bass dangles from the hook. Angler would be most at peace resting near the pond to celebrate the holiday season fishing and supplying hefty dinners for his whole bear family.

Christmas Bear, JollyThe Christmas Bear, Jolly is another sitting black bear, resting on a peppermint seat, holding several packages, and wearing an oversized striped red and white scarf. This friend, who seems to bewrapping and giving Christmas presents, would enjoy sitting next to the large spruce tree in the center of the display garden. Underneath the stately evergreen would be gifts for his bear family and new fairy garden friends.

Christmas Bear, KringleThe third black bear called, Christmas Bear, Kringle is standing with several presents around him, also wearing a long red and white striped scarf, and holding a small Christmas tree with a star resting on top. He would fit best outside a fairy house, waiting to enter with gifts and decorations for his newest friends. Kringle is a bit more of a party animal than his brothers and sister; therefore, he has visited many of the wee folk in the miniature garden.

Christmas Bear, MerryThe last of these bears is resting peacefully in the snow with a long red jacket accented by a green and red scarf. This little bear is also holding a small tree with a star on the top. Christmas Bear, Merry is the only female bear out of the four, and this year she was thrilled to spend her holiday season in Wisconsin.

Angler, Jolly, Kringle, and Merry love being a part of the greenhouse community and spreading joy to all of their fairyhood friends.
